Honoring Our Amazing Baby
Funerals and memorials can make the loss feel unbearably real. Krissy found both deep pain and deep peace as she honored Amazing—held by family, friends, and the hope of eternal families through Jesus Christ.

Playlist to Process Emotions
Music moves you through emotions. After Mayzie passed, Krissy needed songs that matched the level of pain inside and helped her feel safely, rather than forcing cheerfulness.
Step by step
- Create (or open) a playlist that matches how you feel—or honors your loved one.
- Listen to a song 3–5 times. Cry it out. Sing along when you can.
- Really feel into the music. Let yourself break open. Let the tears come.
- Remember her words: healthy grieving allows you to have MORE love, not less, in your life.

If you’re struggling right now
You do not have to fix the whole night. Soften your body first. These breath practices are from Krissy’s toolbox (Breathwork).
Physiological Sigh
For instant stress relief: inhale deeply through your nose, sip a second sharp burst at the top, then long slow sigh out the mouth. Repeat 2 or 3 times.
Box Breathing
Inhale 4 · hold 4 · exhale 4 · hold 4. Repeat for 2 to 5 minutes. Open the guided exercise.
4-7-8
Exhale whoosh · inhale 4 · hold 7 · exhale 8. Repeat for 4 cycles.
