Tonight’s tool from her Healing Toolbox

Mentors

Krissy writes that we were not designed to do this life alone. Mentors and friends helped her see what she could not see on her own—including other mothers, professionals, or anyone who helps you move forward.

Step by step

  1. Name one person who feels safe for this season (a mentor, bereaved parent, counselor, or trusted friend).
  2. Reach out with one honest sentence about how you are today—no performance required.
  3. If you feel stuck, ask them to help you see what you cannot see alone.
  4. Consider also writing a short letter to your loved one to keep the connection active.

If you’re struggling right now

You do not have to fix the whole night. Soften your body first. These breath practices are from Krissy’s toolbox (Breathwork).

Physiological Sigh

For instant stress relief: inhale deeply through your nose, sip a second sharp burst at the top, then long slow sigh out the mouth. Repeat 2 or 3 times.

Box Breathing

4-7-8
